About Luyolo

Luyolo commenced and completed his Articles of Clerkship at Deneys Reitz Inc (now Norton Rose Fulbright), in Durban in 1998, where he gained exposure in Shipping Law, Labour Law and Insurance Law. He was admitted as an attorney in March 1999.

Luyolo went on to work at ABSA Capital as a consultant in the debt capital markets, where he was responsible for, amongst other things, securitisation transactions. Luyolo was further employed by Investec Capital Markets as a senior legal advisor.

Luyolo brings a depth of leadership shaped by extensive experience across law, financial services, investment banking, asset management, and energy. Having served on numerous boards and as a trustee within leading institutions, his career reflects a consistent presence at the centre of governance and strategic decision-making.
